Kailash Kund Yatra 2025

- Kailash Kund Lake: The spiritual center of the journey is a glacier-fed lake called Kailash Kund which is dedicated to Vasuki Naga and Lord Shiva. It is located at an altitude of 12,800 feet and is surrounded by mysteries, and is considered sacred. It is said that a person who takes a bath in this lake is freed from sins and always receives the blessings of Vasuki Naga.
- Seoj Dhar Meadows: A beautiful, sprawling meadow that serves as the camping site during the trip to Kailash Kund, offering lovely landscape, serene natural beauty all around.
- Scenic Vistas: The trek offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the prominent Brahma I and Brahma II peaks, and the diverse, rocky landscape of Mount Qabalas.
- Vasuki Nag Temple: The pilgrimage starts from this ancient temple dedicated to Vasuki Nag Devta located in Bhaderwah and it is from here that the "Chhadi Mubarak" (sacred mace) starts its journey. You can also go through Dudu Valley.
- Nandi Idol:During this journey, pilgrims also get to see the statue of Nandi, which is another important sight on the way to the holy lake.
